The Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies was created in 2021 through the merger of existing institutions offering a range of technical disciplines. It is located in Dnipro, Ukraine.
Oldest of the merged institutions was the National Metallurgical Academy, which was founded as a mining school in 1899. The others were the Dnipro Institute of Infrastructure and Transport (1930), the Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology (1916) and Prydniprovsk State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture (also 1916).
In 2025 it also incorporated the Prydniprovsk State Academy of Physical Culture and Sports whose recent students include Yaroslava Mehuchikh, current World and Olympic champion and world record holder in the high jump.
There are 22 faculties. The majority of students, including all international full-time students, are accommodated in 21 dormitories in central Dnipro, while a new 480-place residence was opened for people displaced by the Russian invasion from the city of Mariupol.
