Hadhramout University was officially established in 1993 and began its academic programmes in 1995.?
The university’s main campus is situated in Mukalla City, the capital of Hadhramout Governorate in east-central Yemen.?
When the university first opened it had just three faculties: Engineering Faculty, Women’s Faculty, and Education Faculty. Today, the university is home to 15 faculties specialising in a range of subject areas including medicine and health sciences, marine biology, computer science and IT, nursing, law, and arts and humanities.?
In addition to its faculties, the university also has an advisory centre, numerous service centres and five research centres: Academic Development and Quality Assurance Centre, International Cooperation and University Ranking Centre, Environmental Studies and Water Resources Centre, Human and Social Studies Centre, and the Women’s Centre.?
Established in May 2011, the university’s International Cooperation Office is responsible for developing partnerships with other higher education institutions across the globe such as Universitas Airlangga in Indonesia and Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia.?

Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is seeking to appoint a permanent, part-time Pūkenga Matua - Senior Lecturer in Interior Architecture within Te Wāhanga Waihanga-Hoahoa - Faculty of Architecture and Design Innovation. This position reports to the Tumuaki - Head of the School of Architecture and is located at the Te Aro campus.

The Interior Architecture discipline at Te Kura Waihanga - School of Architecture is focused around designing with consciousness and understanding of the human experience. In a world where we are both connected and isolated from each other more than ever before, there is opportunity for the design of the interior spaces we inhabit to help restore a sense of balance. At Te Herenga Waka, we promote a future of design that is valued on longevity, human connection and environmental resilience in an attempt to improve well-being through the thoughtful design of interior spaces.

Applicants must have a disciplinary background in interior architecture, ideally with the ability to teach and research across other disciplines (i.e., architecture, landscape architecture, and urban planning) within the School.

Applicants must:


	demonstrate some expertise in teaching and practice, have experience in the diverse roles of interior architecture, and be confident in design or design-related teaching
	understand the degree content and curriculum structure of our professional degree, and show strong promise of making significant contributions to the advancement of interior architecture to achieve sustainable outcomes in contemporary design practice
	have existing or emerging research capabilities as a part of their portfolio of skills and capabilities, although candidates may be transferring from advanced professional practice to an academic career.


Key requirements include the following:


	A completed PhD in a relevant field is preferred
	An existing or emerging record in research publication and/or creative work, and an established research agenda
	Demonstrated evidence of a high standard of teaching in a relevant field at tertiary level and good understanding of the expectations in relation to professional competencies
	Demonstrated evidence of good oral and written communication skills
	Good interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with students and staff from a diverse range of backgrounds
	Demonstrated evidence of engagement and/or collaboration with colleagues in teaching and research

The UM6P Vanguard Center & The School of Applied Sciences & Engineering at UM6P invite applications for a?Scientist in Applied Mathematics, Modeling, and Optimization?to contribute to the interdisciplinary?Wicked Problems (WiP)?framework in the undergraduate program. This role integrates mathematical modeling, numerical simulation, and decision optimization to help students understand, abstract, and solve complex real-world systems, ranging from climate, health, and manufacturing to logistics, mobility, and urban design.

Key Responsibilities:


	Mentor student teams in the mathematical modeling and optimization of dynamic, uncertain, and multiscale systems.
	Guide the design and implementation of numerical algorithms, optimization routines, and simulation-based decision tools.
	Support project-based learning with practical applications in PDEs, ODEs, discrete optimization, and control theory.
	Provide expertise in operations research methods (e.g., linear, nonlinear, integer, stochastic programming) and computational mathematics (e.g., finite elements, reduced-order models).

Required Qualifications:

We are looking for an enthusiastic coordinator of our partners and sub-projects with a background in the physical sciences and excellent communication skills to join our team and support the day-to-day running of PSDIs activities. The key aspects of this role will be to serve as the primary point of contact for our growing community of project partners and undertake event coordination and project tracking to ensure that we meet our deliverables accurately and in a timely fashion.

Applicants must hold a PhD, or possess equivalent professional qualifications or experience in the physical sciences. They should be able to demonstrate substantial, authoritative practical knowledge in the physical sciences, alongside excellent communication skills.

In addition, applicants must have significant experience in working within the physical sciences, in addition to demonstrable experience in organising events and a proven track record of project management and stakeholder/partner liaison.

You will make a valuable contribution to PSDI’s goals, making contributions from research to user engagement and have the potential to grow your own areas of expertise. There will be opportunities to develop skills to advance your career and build on skills outside of project and event coordination, such as scientific communication and involvement in coordinating our research projects e.g. around Electronic Lab Notebooks.

About the role

King’s College London is seeking to appoint a Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) to support a cutting-edge, transdisciplinary research project focused on climate change litigation and impact attribution. Based in the Department of Geography within the Faculty of Social Science and Public Policy, the successful candidate will contribute to the King’s Climate and Sustainability Seed Fund project,?Extreme event impact attribution for climate litigation (EXACT).

This role offers an exciting opportunity for an early-career researcher with a strong foundation in law—particularly climate law—or in a related discipline with an interest in climate litigation. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Dr Viktor Roezer (Lecturer in Risk, Environment & Society), and in close collaboration with co-investigator Dr Alex Bradley (Lecturer in Climate and Environmental Sciences) and a second GRA with a background in climate attribution science. Together, the team will co-develop and test a novel research framework designed to bridge the gap between legal standards of causation and scientific approaches to impact attribution in the context of climate-related lawsuits.

The GRA will be responsible for conducting literature reviews, supporting the coordination of high-profile academic workshops, and contributing to collaborative research outputs including peer-reviewed publications and funding proposals. The postholder will play a central role in synthesising legal and scientific evidence, helping to establish a robust framework for climate litigation evidence that is informed by both domains.

This role will suit a highly motivated and independent individual with an excellent understanding of climate litigation, strong research and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team.

This is a part time post (17.5 hours per week), and you will be offered an a fixed term contract until 30th October 2026.

Research staff at King’s are entitled to at least 10 days per year (pro-rata) for professional development.
