Latin America University Rankings 2016

The 探花视频 pilot Latin America University Rankings 2016 use the same 13 performance indicators as the THE World University Rankings, but have been recalibrated to reflect the qualities of Latin America’s institutions.

We only include universities that actively choose to participate and share data.

Universities are judged across all their core missions – teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook – to provide the most comprehensive comparisons available.

Brazil is the most-represented nation in the table, claiming 23 of the top 50 places, including half of the top 10. Chile and Mexico take 11 and eight positions respectively, while Colombia has four universities in the ranking.

Overall, seven countries are represented in the 50-strong list, including Costa Rica, Peru and Venezuela, all of which do not feature in the flagship THE World University Rankings.
