Seven reasons why your institution should participate in the World University Rankings

°Õ³ó±ðÌý̽»¨ÊÓƵ World University RankingsÌýhave been highlighting the work of world-class universities since 2004. Our rankings are arguably the world’s most prestigious and widely referenced university league tables, covered and reproduced by media around the world. Featured institutions benefit from this global exposure with tens of millions of page views every year. The data we compile to produce these rankings are trusted by governments and universities and are a vital resource for students when they are making decisions about where to study.

Since 2015, we have expanded the range of rankings we produce to spotlight and measure the diverse missions of universities, including teaching and impact.

By submitting your data to any of our rankings, even if you do not meet the inclusion criteria, you will be entitled to a university profile on our website that will increase your visibility to our audience of academics, prospective students and their parents.

Alongside the World University Rankings, we also publish 11 subject rankingsÌýand the Asia University Rankings. Universities must participate in the World University Rankings data collection and be ranked in this global table to be included in these derivative rankings.

Meanwhile, universities must participate in the World University Rankings data collection to be included in the Latin America University Rankings,ÌýArab University RankingsÌý´Ç°ù Interdisciplinary Science Rankings. However, these institutions do not have to be ranked in the global table to be included in the regional/thematic rankings as they have different eligibility criteria.

Universities do not need to participate to be included in the World Reputation Rankings. This ranking is based on an invitation-only survey of academics.

You can submit data via THE’s secure data collection portal. To get started, email profilerankings@timeshighereducation.com. The portalÌýwill beÌýopen from January to 30 March.
