(Photograph) - Ring-pull: Claire Archibald, a first-year fashion student at Glasgow Caledonian University, models her design of ring-pull headgear to publicise the university's new waste management programme. The university has decided to go green on discovering that it uses around 15,000 aluminium cans and several tonnes of paper and cardboard each week. It is now asking staff and students to put cans, glass and paper in special recycling bins.
