Cambridge computer to unlock secrets of cosmos

A Pounds 2 million supercomputer has been installed at Cambridge University to help scientists researching the history of the universe. Cambridge-based Stephen Hawking, the leading physicist and mathematician, says the computer, called Cosmos, will allow researchers to test the latest theories on the development of the universe against new observational results from space scientists.
