A ROYAL Society of Arts study says the education reforms of the 1980s and 1990s have bolted change on to a system that serves the social and cultural norms of the last century. Produced as part of the RSA's "Redefining Work" project, the report calls for the "re-engineering" of Britain's education system. It predicts a world transformed by information technology and says that in 20 years more people will work but fewer will have jobs in the conventional sense.
