North?Khorasan University of Medical Sciences (NKUMS) is the leading public medical education institution in Iran’s North Khorasan province. Established in 1991 as a regional medical school and formally designated a University of Medical Sciences in May 2008, NKUMS was created to serve the healthcare and education needs of the province after its 2004 formation.
It is situated in Bojnord, the vibrant capital city of North Khorasan.
NKUMS is organised into seven schools and faculties: medicine, dentistry, nursing and midwifery, public health, and paramedicine, alongside satellite branches in Shirvan and Esfarayen, plus regional medical centres and hospitals serving local communities.?
The university’s mission is centred on producing highly qualified health professionals and enhancing regional public health through education and research. Its academic output includes a quarterly open?access Journal of North Khorasan University of Medical Sciences, which publishes original research across health sciences and allied disciplines under a Creative Commons licence.
Internationally, NKUMS recently joined the COMSTECH-affiliated CINVU network.
It also contributes to major national research efforts such as the International Congress on Vector?Borne Diseases in partnership with Tehran University of Medical Sciences.

About the opportunity

The University of Sydney's School of Veterinary Science  is seeking an accomplished and respected industry leader to join as a Professor or Associate Professor of Practice in Veterinary Primary Care (small animal). Located within the University Veterinary Teaching Hospital (UVTHS) in Camperdown, the primary care team delivers a wide range of general practice services including wellness consultations, vaccinations, preventative health, diagnostic testing, dentistry, and surgical services. The team works collaboratively with specialists and researchers to ensure a comprehensive approach to animal health and welfare, supported by access to state-of-the-art diagnostics and treatments.

As the successful candidate, you will bring extensive clinical experience in private practice or a university teaching hospital setting, demonstrating strong leadership and professional standing within the veterinary industry. The Position

NCI is looking for an experienced front-end Developer to take a lead role in the development of user-facing components of the GUARDIANS (human Genomics Uplift for Australia through Research Data Infrastructure At National Scale) Project.

The Person


	2–4 years of experience as a front-end developer.
	Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks like Angular, React and Node.js.
	Solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and web performance optimisation.
	Experience working with REST and GraphQL APIs.
	Familiarity with Git, CI/CD workflows, and collaborative development practices.
	Strong eye for design and user experience — you care about how things look and feel as much as how they work.
	Full stack knowledge (NestJS, databases, AWS) is a plus but not required.

We are seeking a talented Power Electronics Engineer or Research Fellow to design and optimize high-frequency magnetic components and resonant power conversion circuits for advanced aerospace power supply applications. In this role, you will collaborate closely with project supervisors and team members to achieve technical objectives, resolve design challenges, and ensure projects are completed on schedule. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in both magnetic design and resonant topology optimization, enabling the delivery of high-efficiency, compact, and reliable solutions. Candidates with relevant R&D work experience will be considered. The project supervisor will provide on-the-job training on simulation tools.

Key Responsibilities


	Design and develop custom high-frequency transformers (planar, ferrite-core, and PCB-embedded) for switching power converters. Model parasitics (leakage inductance, interwinding capacitance) for accurate simulation and EMI prediction. Analyze core and copper losses and apply thermal management strategies for high power density application. Build and evaluate transformer prototypes.
	Design resonant circuit topologies for high-efficiency DC-DC conversion. Calculate resonant tank parameters to achieve ZVS/ZCS and optimize switching performance. Model and simulate resonant circuits under varying load and voltage conditions using circuit simulation software. Develop advanced control strategies to meet the application requirement.


Job Requirements


	Master/Ph.D. degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (Power Electronics focus preferred).
	Proficiency in magnetic design tools (e.g., Simplis Magnetics Design Module, ANSYS Maxwell, etc) and circuit simulation platforms (Simplis, PLECS, PSIM, LTspice, etc) is preferred.
	3+ years’ experience in designing high-frequency magnetic components and resonant converters, with relevant academic research as a valued addition.
	Familiarity with GaN/SiC device circuit design application and high-frequency switching considerations.
	Understanding of safety (IEC/UL) and EMC/EMI compliance requirements.
