A total of 19 German universities appear in the Global Employability University Ranking听2026, designed by the HR听consultancy Emerging and published exclusively by 探花视频. The ranking reveals the universities that recruiters at top companies believe are the best at preparing students for the workplace.
The Technical University of Munich is Germany鈥檚 best university for employability. LMU Munich, also located in Munich, takes the second place position. The other universities in the top five are located in Berlin and Karlsruhe.

1.鈥Technical University of Munich
Germany鈥檚 top university for employability refers to itself as 鈥渢he听entrepreneurial university鈥 because of its emphasis on close relationships with industry.
Many academics also have positions in companies such as BMW and Siemens, and students undertake research projects with employers in the area.
The Technical University of Munich offers 172 degree programmes across 14听departments. Each year, scientists from the university develop more than 100听inventions with industrial and commercial applications.

LMU Munich was founded in 1472 and is Germany鈥檚 second-largest university in terms of student population.
The university has 18 faculties including law, economics, medicine and social sciences.
LMU Munich attracts a high percentage of exchange and international students. The city has many resources that students can take advantage of, such as the Max Planck Society and numerous global enterprises and start-ups.
3. Technical University of Berlin
The Technical University of Berlin (TU Berlin) is a research university located in the capital city of Germany and has roots dating back to 1879.
The university focuses on teaching and research in technology and engineering.
The main campus is located in central Berlin and is home to two innovation centres designated by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology.
