Essex University is supporting an oral history project aimed at recording rural life in the county. Steve Hussey, Essex County Council Research Fellow in Local History at the university, is seeking volunteers to contribute their memories to "Community and Change in the Essex Countryside", a project for the Essex Sound Archive, which is part of the county record office.
